Perfect getaway for relaxation

5 of 5
At first we were hesitant to come to Mexico because it was the beginning of hurricane season and the forecasts showed thunderstorms most days we were there. We were glad we decided to come anyway. Though there was some rain, we still had good weather. Booking with Loic (the owner) was very easy and he was helpful with directions and other questions we had prior to arrival. The beach house was exactly what we were looking for. The area is peaceful and we were 10 min from town. Since we were the only ones staying there at the time, we had 2 pools and the private beach to ourselves. The place has kayaks and snorkel equipment for the guests to use. Alessandra and Miguel who stay on the property, clean the unit, the pools and take care of the grounds. They were very friendly. And we loved Chile the dog. We stayed in the Bora unit which was perfect for us. It had a nice well equipped kitchen which we used every day. We barely ate out at the restaurants since we just cooked there. Our unit had a nice porch that stepped right out to the pools. We had AC in our unit though with the sea breeze, we never needed it. We just had the ceiling fans on for air flow. If you want to come to Mexico to enjoy the sun, beach, pool, relaxation but avoid crowded touristy areas, I highly recommend this place. The drive to Soliman Bay was so easy...just one highway all the way down.
