excellent choice for family vacation

5 of 5
What a beautiful place for a family getaway. The landscaping surrounding the pool made you feel as though you where in your own tropical paradise. And if you were tired of lounging at the pool a short walk took you to a beautiful beach. We had the cook prepare 5 of our 7 evening meals and I wish I would have done all 7. The food was excellent and not having to clean up after the meal a real plus. The owner was unable to be with us, but his assistant, Isai took great care of us. All concerns we had were taken care of immediately. If you looking for a beautiful place for a getaway with friends or family, I give this property an A+ We hope to enjoy another family holiday here very soon.

What you see is What you get!!!! Wonderful!!

5 of 5
Our trip to Villa Bellamar was WONDERFULL!! The house was exactly as you see it on the internet. The staff was wonderful. The food was excellent. There were 18 of us in the house and everyone was very comfortable and had there own space. The cooks from Chef Tulum were wonderful. They even provided us with a bartender everyday. There was nothing that we could have possibly asked for that they were not willing to get us or find. There is nothing that I would have changed. We will be returning and renting this home again. Even the people of Akumal were very friendly and the town has everything that you could need. Bars, restaurants, shopping, and if you wanted more you were only 15 to 30 min. away from larger towns.. Wilma and her staff were there to help us with anything that we might need. It was truly a wonderful and very relaxing week. Thank you again to JP the concierge, Chef Antonio and his staff, The cleaning ladies, and the security guards. Thank you Joie Ford Texas

Two Families Traveling Together

5 of 5
We just returned from an amazing trip. We were traveling with our four adult kids (ages 18 to 21) and another family with three adult kids ages 18-21). The Villa was perfect for us. We have done the all inclusive and cruises only to not see our children during the trip because we had to have seperate rooms. We wanted one roof and a group setting. This was perfect. Centrally located and close to everything just by walking. We prepared meals, had coctails and just hung out all together, lots of laughter and fun. My kids 18, 18, 20, 21 all agreed this topped our Hawaii trip just because we were together yet they had their space. Senior Frogs is just a walk down the beach for them, because we did not want them around 5th Ave. 5th Ave is fine but very touristy. We were able to get off the path and find the local flavor and inexpensive cost. One place we took our own cooler for drinks and each ate for $2.50 a piece (we went twice!). We went to Walmart for groceries and with a meal plan, ate and drink at the villa together for $18 per person per day. Carlos was very attentive and offered suggestions to again go where the locals go for snorkling and Cenote swiming, controling the cost. We catered a meal in one night, cooked by his 70 year old aunt and it was totally amazing! Ms. Eleornora (the owner) has been very gracious and completely helpful during our several months of planning. The villa is a VERY short walk to the beach, we took the chairs from the deck with us because it was so short. There is a short cut to fifth avenue at the end of the street which travels right by the ruins. For snorking check out Paamul!!!! Kentuchi is great Cenote and only $29 for the day! We all agree after returning home we are going through vacation withdrawls and miss each others company in the kitchen. Jump on this villa if you get a chance it is truly amazing. Karen
