Rosa Blanca - Casa de Canciones (House of Songs)

5 of 5
Our stay at this beautiful condo property was everything we had hoped it would be and more. As there are only twelve units it maintains a quiet and very relaxed atmosphere. The grounds are well kept and the pool - fantastic! Our unit had recently been renovatated the year before which was a plus. All the comforts of home - comfortable beds, awesome kitchen, washer/dryer, spacious showers etc. Very private as well - no buildings towering over you on either side or the backyard where pool is located. Location was perfect for us - easy walking distance to town or beach (10 minutes) and access to The Reef Club Resort (20 minute walk). For groceries we would walk to either Walmart or Chedraui (which is a little closer) and taxi back (50-70 pesos). The owners had compiled a binder with all sorts of useful information (emergency numbers, good places to eat/drink, useful tips on a variety of things while in Playa etc.). We also enjoyed some days trips to Isla Mujueres ((Island of Women) and Merida (inland by bus 4 hours each way) and worth it! Long story short - we are returning in 2014 for another month's stay - can't wait til then! Adios for now and thanks to the owners for sharing their little piece of paradise with us!
