Sunsets-Moonlight-Heaven!

5 of 5
This house is all about the view, do not miss the sunsets from the top deck! My husband would wake in the night just to photograph the moon over the ocean, literally you have a work of art/view from the master bedroom window every night. Everything about this property has been well thought out, all details have been attended too. Comfy beds, which is not always the case in Mexico, well stocked kitchen, bottled water ect. Ashley, the owner is just simply the best, she is not new at owning and operating properties on the island, so she has worked many details out, through her knowledge and experience. The homes location is spectacular, with many food/entertainment options near by (check-out the binder for more details). Make sure to rent a golf cart, without it your island experience will not be complete. I will recommend, as well as will rent this property in the future.

This house was a pleasure to stay in we had eight people and we had no problems except the heat in the hot tub Miguil CAME three times until he got it fixed anything wrong they took care of it asap . It was as the name says a gran escape would do it again . You need a golf cart to really enjoy the island . I love the island and now six more people love it . JULIE YOU GOT A GOOD CREW AND A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE !

Gorgeous home with many places to hang out

5 of 5
Four of us spent 6 days at this lovely home in late October 2014 and had the best time. First of all, the house is GORGEOUS … much nicer than most of the homes we saw on the island. Every room is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pool was just the right size for dipping and hanging out, and because it is on the side of the house away from the beach, it’s protected from the wind. We spent tons of time in the water. The kitchen, while small, was well appointed with fantastic appliances (gigantic fridge, wide gas range with griddle, dishwasher). The bedroom downstairs is very large, with an extra large bathroom and tub. But since there were only four of us, both couples opted for the second-floor bedrooms instead, and we used the lower bedroom as an extension of the living space on the main floor. Opening the windows in the bedroom allowed a nice breeze to flow through the home. The bedrooms on the second floor are very similar in size and amenities. One of the two bedrooms on that floor has a loft space for a little reading or napping. (The other has a smaller loft bed.) In fact, that was something unexpected that we loved about this house. It’s not overly large, yet there were so many wonderful places to hang out: the pool, the deck off the bedroom on the main floor, the loft in the bedroom upstairs, the wonderful rooftop deck, or the hammock room on the roof. The location of the home is also nice – just a few minutes via golf cart into town (but away from its crowds), and minutes from a large well-appointed grocery store (Chedraui). The house sits along a road (which was busier than usual for us because it was being used as a detour for the main road, which was closed), but once inside the gate, we didn’t hear much nice, especially with the pool fountain running. The beach was lovely to walk along (tons of shells and coral), but a little rocky and wavy, but we did find ourselves swimming in it a couple of times. One day, we headed to Playa del Norte in town and enjoyed the white sand and shallow, calm waters. Finally, the staff at the house was wonderful… Armin was super friendly and eager to help or offer advice whenever he could, and his wife was extremely thorough in keeping the house clean and stocked. We all agreed we’d definitely spend more time in this home, and we likely will!
