Highly Recommend - Beautiful views and great location

5 of 5
We had the pleasure of staying in this high end villa and highly recommend staying here when you visit Isla Mujeres. Whether you are going with one, two, or three other people, the size and layout are very accommodating (it's a large space!). My favorite features of the villa were of course the view of the crystal clear ocean and the natural stone tile throughout. Also, the fact that it's brand new! The villa was so clean and luxurious. The keyless entry was so convenient too. We didn't have to worry about staying with a family member who had a key or keeping it with us on the beach. It's centrally located on the island with the main town and sand beaches just a few minutes drive on a golf cart, moped or taxi when you go north and the natural beaches and Punta Sur park are south. We mainly ate out (the restaurants on the island are amazing!), but the kitchen is fully appointed for those who want to prepare food. I liked the decor too. It felt both high end and far from generic. We spend many nights relaxing on the balcony, listening to the waves. It's truly an idyllic getaway. I'm sure we'll be back in the near future, we miss the villa and Isla Mujeres!

Stunning Views, Authentic Details, Luxurious Vacation

5 of 5
We were SO impressed by the spacious size and beauty of the Villas. The turquoise ocean views are absolutely breathtaking and visible from the living areas, kitchens, master bedrooms and master baths. By opening the pocket doors in both the living areas and master bedrooms, we took full advantage of the sights and calming ocean sounds; that was such a great feature. I've never stayed at a place where you can watch the sunrise over the ocean and later, see it set over the sea. It was so memorable. It's clear that the owners have an eye for detail and design by the furnishings in each room and the high quality construction materials. We loved the beautiful tiled floors throughout and details around the main doors and jacuzzi tubs. The brick ceilings in the master bedrooms are so unique and authentic! The kitchens are huge, with beautiful granite counter tops, and include all the amenities you come to expect from home (oven, stove, microwave, fridge - all stainless steel). The colorful artwork and dining room furniture give a local flare (wish I could pull of that table at home!). The beds and pillows were very comfortable and there is plenty of storage in the closets. We enjoyed winding down in front of the large TVs included in each living area, with large, cozy couches or sitting out on the balconies with a nice drink. We liked how the Villas are a stone's throw from the bustle of the downtown area; just close enough but tranquil. Playa Norte is the most beautiful beach we've ever seen (and we are big beach fans :). There are so many places to eat on the island and they are all so wonderful and diverse. The owners gave us great recommendations on their favorite spots. We had so much fun traveling around the island in the rented golf cart. Just thinking about the villas, the restaurants, gorgeous beaches and friendly people on Isla Mujeres makes me want to go back now! It was so hard to leave! We highly recommend staying in the villas and could not have asked for a better vacation or rental property. We can't wait to go back!

Affordable South End Condo

4 of 5
We enjoyed our stay at Jean's condo. Prior to arrival, she was very prompt in answering all our questions and providing additional information about the area. The condo complex consists of three buildings housing 20 condo units. This condo is on the third floor (no elevator). It has a beautiful view across the water looking towards Cancun. We cooked a few meals and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The breezes are great - no need for A/C. The pool was clean and cold - very refreshing! Jose Luis (the onsite manager) was very friendly and helpful. He carried our (heavy) luggage up to the unit for us and brought us a new water bottle mid-week. I feel I would be remiss if I didn't bring up the condo complex's proximity to the dump/water treatment facility. The day we arrived, we smelled it immediately and wondered if we would have to deal with it all week, Thankfully, it wasn't bad 24/7 - it depended on which way the wind was blowing and I'm guessing it didn't bother us more than 20% of the time. Also, the condo owners association needs to replace/add to it's supply of lounge chairs down at the pool. I think there were only 6 resin loungers and half of them were cracked or broken. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay.
