Best vacation I have ever taken!

5 of 5
As I stayed before, it was the best vacation that I have ever taken. Milton and Karla made me feel like I never left home and the condo was simply breathtaking. I got certified to scuba five while I was there and had a blast doing it. The dive master Eric is very professional and is a great instructor. I look forward to going back soon and will defiantly be using Milton and Karla and challenge diving again in the future!

For someone who used to live on Cozumel, I'll never stay anywhere else!

First off, I know Cozumel. Having lived there for over 3 years I know exactly where I want to be when I visit ----> Near the reef! This complex is amazing. Well kept, quiet, safe, clean, and a stones throw from the best diving on the island and all the South dive spots. It's just far enough away from town too, and I don't have to look at any God-forsaken cruise ships on my vacation (the bane of my existence as a diver). The unit itself is amazing. It has everything you need: big kitchen, large bedrooms and bathrooms (the pics just don't do it justice in my opinion). It's a LOT larger than it looks. And the couch is super comfy after some great diving, swimming, and eating. We shop at Mega, as it has the freshest food and widest variety. Also, we go out to eat a few times only: Guido's (the original in the North of the island), El Moro (which actually isn't as cheap as it used to be, but locals can get you there for a very informal meal), and sometimes we order a pizza like at home. Actually, this time I got a pizza made for me at the supermarket Mega, and it was better than any delivery I've had. The best part is that my friend, and dive operator (Buena Ventura Diving http://buenaventuradiving.net/) was able to pick us up right on the pier! We didn't have to drive to Caleta Marina (which wouldn't have been far anyways) and waste precious morning time. Because of the location of the property being at KM 14, it only took a bit over 5 minutes to reach the Southern reefs by boat! As compared with a 30 minute boat ride from the North. That's more efficient in my book, as I have kids that don't dive and precious time away from them is kept at a minimum. Very convenient! We had an issue with the air conditioner (leaking) and it was promptly fixed. I loved that we had a washer dryer in the unit as well. Couldn't figure out how to use the VOIP phone, but no worry since there was wifi, and we all connected our devices to that. Keep in mind though, it is an island, so internet is spotty at times. Just one of those things. Not like I wanted to be on the internet all the time, it was mostly in the evenings when I wanted to upload my underwater footage of my dives that morning! Top notch is the private pool on the patio. And the patio furniture (wood, very nice through out the complex too). When you wanted to get out of the sun, but the kids wanted to swim, we were on our shaded private patio. Priceless. So basically, I will stay here again.

Fantastic beyond expectation!

Today is the last of 14 days of absolute paradise. While not a destination for those who want to party, Cozumel is a quaint outpost of unspoiled, breathtaking nature, with water, fish and beaches that rival the best in the world. Matt and Isabella's penthouse apartment was the ideal retreat to appreciate all this: located in the more "upscale" north area of Cozumel, in a perfectly manicured, small condominium, furnished soberly and with style, filled with sunlight, 180 degree view of the ocean, and everything you need to have a memorable vacation. Air conditioning, maid service, wifi, purified water, and more. From the flowers at arrival to the restaurant recommendations and the "insider" activity suggestions the only words that can describe Matt and Isabella are "the perfect hosts". A few steps down in the back of the condominium you have a gorgeous infinity swimming pool to start and finish you day and, just in front of the pool, the unbelievable colors of the ocean. If you like to scuba dive or snorkel this is unbeatable! The colors, variety, and quantity of the fish are almost unreal. Thank you Matt and Isabella for all your help and amazing service! we look forward to coming back soon.
