Perfect home for large family - Jackson/Samford/Wade families loved our stay!

5 of 5
This was the PERFECT getaway for our family of 25 who were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary! I can not say enough about how wonderful, nice and accommodating the owners were during our entire stay. This was a perfect location, close to Cody (small town), but great for day trips to Yellowstone and other fun outings. The home is large and the view from the back of the house with the mountains in the background is beautiful and the view of the stars at night are amazing! I am a travel agent, so I have seen many homes, condos, resorts, etc. and this is definitely in my Top 10!

Beautiful Jackson Hole Family Retreat!

5 of 5
Rancho Alegre is one-of-a-kind and truly special. The ranch is perfectly located just minutes from town. Our large family (13 total) were entertained at all times. We enjoyed relaxing on the many decks, playing pool, seeing all the farm animals (goats, chickens, horses, pigs... you name it!), cooking meals in the fabulous kitchen and dining together in front of the massive stone fireplace. Shana, the property manager, is awesome and extremely accommodating and helpful in every way. We all loved her! This is a property where many memories were made, shared and will never be forgotten. We can't wait to return!

a river runs through it

5 of 5
I was a guest of this house last fall and was blown away by Jackson Hole in the fall. Myself and 3 other couple stayed here. The colors of the trees were incredible along the entire river area. Every morning I would walk down to the Snake River and get my line wet. I even reeled in few cuttys and rainbow trout. I felt like i could walk along the property for an hour before i reached the next house. It was my own private fishing paradise. Also I hired a guide and floated other sections of the Snake as well as a couple trips to the Grey´s and Hoback River. All were within a half hour of the property. The house was immaculate and I would recommend this place especially for those who like to be near Jackson but without all the madness the center of a tourist driven town. I hope to go back in the future to hunt in the fall as its located in the heart of the elk migration. I was surprised at how reasonable the price was after seeing the hotel rates in town, not to mention the kitchen was perfect for meals for the 7 of us.
