We stayed at the unit as 2 families - 4 adults and 6 kids. The one party in our group flew in from Holland for the week. The location of the unit is outstanding. It is a 10 minute walk to the Village where you can eat, shop, go to the spa, catch a tram ride and do a variety of things. The unit is well laid out and everyone had their own space to go to when they needed it. The 4+ bathrooms are key and we enjoyed grilling out and cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining room/living room space is very comfortable for a large group. As for activities, we would recommend swimming in Jenny Lake and doing the boat trip/hike to Inspiration Point and the Falls; taking a day to Yellowstone; buying a tram ticket to the top and hiking the 7.4 miles down the mountain on the Wildflower trail (did with 6 kids all under age 13 in 3 hours); mountain biking on the mountain using the chairlift; horsebacking with AOK Corral; shopping in Jackson; catching the Sunday evening free concert; making good use of the pool/hot tubs 2 doors down in the club; white water rafting doing the float/breakfast/raft combo with Barker Ewing Rafting company; and finding the Granite hot springs South of town in the Gros Ventre park for a relaxing few hours.
Tom was extremely easy to work with throughout the process. He checked in with us during our stay and had his property manager check in with us regarding an issue that we had with the coffee maker. As for suggestions, some of the rooms need new blinds as they are broken/torn/falling down; the coffee maker is in need of repair as it leaks out of the bottom and coffee grinds go everywhere; the decks are in need of some attention; and the 1st floor smells musty in the 2 bedrooms - maybe remove the carpet? Having said this, these are all small things which are part of normal maintenance on a property and not big issues. The condo is lovely, homey and very well thought out. Laundry is great! Water pressure is great in showers! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
One suggestion is to tell people what to do with recyclables. We took a trunkload to the Aspens grocery parking lot and only had 4 bags of trash all week due to finding that location for recycling. We really appreciate you having us in your condo and hope to return to ski because the mountain looks incredible! Thank you, Tom!
