family reunion fun

5 of 5
Our family had a fantastic time! Clarksfork guest lodge was 28 minutes north of Cody and 10 minutes from the Chief Joesph Hwy, which was a breathtaking ride up to 12k feet, with hundreds of lakes and snow pockets even in September! Kayaking was available on the large stocked trout lake/pond also on the Clarksfork River which goes right by the lodge. Wildlife meandered past the front of lodge early mornings. The beds were wonderful, with tastefully decorated rooms. The downstairs had a bar, pool table, washer /dryer. Beautiful views of the Beartooth Mts and Clarksfork river from a large lobby. Big screen tv, internet and fax machine at our disposal. A well stocked kitchen, (all we did is bring the food). We feel we can recommend this as fun and relaxing place to get away from it all!

Great rental with Million Dollar Views

4 of 5
We rented this lovely house for family to stay in during our daughter's wedding. Perched on a hill, it has amazing views of mountains, the river and the resevoir. In Wapiti, it is 1/2 way between Yellowstone and Cody. Although it advertises as a 2 bedroom house, it can function as a four bedroom house. The basement and porch both close off to make 2 additional sleeping spaces. We also like how the kitchen area was separate from the living room area. At one point on our weekend, with a little furniture moving, we had 30 people for a dinner in the house's basement with plenty of parking outside. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the beds were comfortable. Our only problems were a few fix it things that I'm sure the owners will take care of. We would definitely recommend it to a friend.
