Fantastic Paris Art Deco Duplex

5 of 5
Wow, this apartment - in the most POSH neighborhood of Paris - was a "once in a lifetime opportunity" for me, but I plan to now regularly stay in this residence every time I go to Paris. Not only is the environment wonderful, but the apartment is filled with all the household items one may need to "feel like you are AT HOME." The apartment is a spacious-filled interior, great library of serious and popular books to read, and a comfortable place to stay indoors, if you wish. The neighborhood has all the requirements, such as fine markets, individual food stores (such as meats, pastries, and cheese), and it is so easy to get a taxi for your day in Paris. I have been visiting Paris for these past thirty years, but oh how I wish I knew about this Duplex Apartment decades ago. My stay this time was magnificent, marvelous, and incredible. I absolutely LOVED staying at this apartment!! What a special treat to be able to "live in a fine residence" like other Parisians. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this apartment for anyone who loves Paris or is a first-time visitors, for it is a "home away from home." The owner of the apartment and the caretaker - on site - always were enormously helpful and knowledgeable. I valued their expertise and willing to always make my stay comfortable and rewarding. Thank you thank you thank you thank you. for a SUPERB EXPERIENCE.

Excellent

5 of 5
When I first came across this rental I was slightly hesitant about owners residing upstairs, you would never even know they were there, but they were available if you had a problem. Gave us an over veiw of where things were, how to operate garbage disposal etc and were gone. Unit is very clean & neat, close to everything. The photos in listing are very accurate, no suprises. What you see in photos is what you get. Only downside is parking is very tight, my husband decided to upgrade his car rental to a Lincoln town car...very tight to park, so if you can make do with a full size car like the size of an Impala or smaller you will be fine. . After long days of sight seeing it was a pleasure to come back here, grill some dinner, throw some clothes in the washer & sit outside & relax with a glass of wine. Oh that was a huge plus not to come home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes. This unit is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend to family & friends. I would not hesitate to rent again on my next visit.

Paradise Found

5 of 5
Five women looked for a place to celebrate the 70th milestone for one of their group. They rented the beachfront cabin at Whidbey Island and found a place remarkably suited to their needs. Spacious, open common rooms meant the group could sit, eat, talk in various locales comfortably. Private bedrooms and the beach cabin gave each the solitude and private moments they desired. The beach welcomed us to stride energetically or dawdle mindlessly, and provided surprising treasures - the wooden teepee on the beach, and stones shaped like Mickey's head. The kitchen, well equipped and laid out, became a creative space and served us well. We left with regret, but carried away with us memories of bocce on the lawn; rabbits munching steadily while dogs careened around the beach; deer welcoming us as we drove down the trail to the house and again on our way out; and a truly wonderful venue in which to celebrate one of life's important moments.
