Everything was great and as described. It actually looks better in person than in the photos!

“When Good Americans Die, They Go to Paris.” Oscar Wilde

5 of 5
We stayed at this beautiful hideaway in the heart of the 16th arr. for an all too brief 8 days. Our arrival was warmly welcomed by the caretaker, Mona and her assistant, Winston, who greeted us with a delicious selection of cheese and fruit from the local market, and prepared each of the rooms with a bouquet of bright crimson roses; a perfect color to contrast with the white on white decor of the townhouse. My husband, teenage daughter and I fit comfortably in the home, with plenty of space for privacy. The guest bath off the kitchen allowed for the master bath to remain free from our daughter's clutter. Plus, the airy and roomy first floor had plenty of space for her massive luggage from a 6-week journey. We began each day with fresh croissant, pain au chocolate & custard from the corner patisserie and we brewed coffee from the well stocked and appointed kitchen. Every night we ate at one of the local restaurants, except for one night when we "became Parisian" and cooked at home. The selection of local places to eat is excellent. We became regulars at one place in particular, Da Enzo, where the Italian fare was simple and delicious. Finding things to do in Paris is never difficult, but the townhouse's impressive collection of books on Paris, French History and Art Deco design temps one to stay put and get lost in the reading, rather than in the nearby Auteuil, where there is some of the most renown examples of Art Nouveau buildings. Our visit to Paris was made so much better because of this townhouse; its accessibility, security, charm, warmth, size and beautiful design, it was difficult to leave; it was to "die for".

Simply WONDERFUL in every way!

5 of 5
Rarely does a rental exceed your expectations in every way! This incredible property managed to do just that. We fished in the Gallatin River daily…and caught fish whether it was sunny, raining, sleeting or a dusting of snow. The beautiful inviting fireplace was always nice to sit by and share stories of our rainbow trout getting bigger and bigger. :) After sitting in the hot tub at night, we now know why Montana is referred to as "Big Sky Country"….the amount of stars was simply amazing! The kitchen was very well equipped as was the deck with the nice Weber gas grill. We even decided to eat popcorn for dessert a few evenings just because we could with the nice popcorn machine in the bar area. We loved opening the windows on the more mild evenings and listening to the sound of the river. Yes we EVEN loved the awesome Pella windows with the built in blinds. Now on to the bedding….not sure if there are enough characters remaining for me to explain how awesome it was…so I'll suffice with it was by far the most comfortable sheets, blankets etc of any place I have ever stayed….and that is saying a lot as I have traveled for business regularly since 1990. The house was conveniently located to Yellowstone, Big Sky, and Bozeman. There are many good restaurants nearby that we enjoyed including Olive B's, Lone Peak Brewery, 320 Ranch, and Buck T-4s. We were able to find all the groceries we needed at the Hungry Moose and also at the Country Market. We really enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the owners and can't wait to schedule our return to this unique guesthouse!
