WONDERFUL LOCATION ON A QUAINT ALLEY

4 of 5
Romula was wonderful to deal with from the start of the booking process through check out. The apartment is at the end of a beautiful alley. It is centrally located to just about everything to see in Rome. We walked the city and only had to use public transportation once. There is plenty to see and do very close to the apartment. The apartment itself is small and cozy, is quite for its location, and has T,.V with limited english channels. Our only complaint is that the shower was very small and we would run out of hot water with three people trying to shower in the morning.

CHRISTMAS IN PARIS

5 of 5
Apologies to Ferida for the late posting! My family and I chose this wonderful apartment over Christmas in 2013-2014. I am an airline employee and we travel standby, so we needed to arrive a day earlier than originally booked. I called Ferida and she was very accommodating with booking the extra day. We took the train in from CDG airport with no issues early on the Sunday. Ferida was out of town for the week with her own Christmas plans, but she had arranged for the housekeeper to give us a brief orientation. The apartment was very neat, functional and QUIET! Short climb up stairs to the apartment from the street level, so if you have a family member that has trouble climbing, it may be a consideration.. One small water closet on the exterior of the apartment that our kids (one early 20's, one late teen) actually became more comfortable with than the interior restroom. Kitchen was well stocked and we actually had a very nice Christmas meal that we prepared (not too many restaurant's open) in house. All beds were very comfortable and we couldn't hear a peep of noise from the street late at night. The location is incredibly good. Short walks to the Louvre and Notre Dame. Longer walks to Eiffel Tower and other sites, but beautiful as most walks are on the river. All in all, we had a great vacation which I attribute in large part to our choice of apartment.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed in this Blue Hill apartment from 6/5/14 to 6/21/14. It is a wonderful location for day trips to Acadia National Park, the Blue HIll Heritage Trails, Camden, Bar Harbour and the many charming towns on the peninsula. It was a real pleasure to return to the apartment each day not only for its comfort but also for its aesthetics. We were impressed with the craftsmanship of the remodeling of the apartment and the decor. The photos truly depict the space. The Hikades quickly responded when we had questions. The Arborvine restaurant and the Brew Pub, across the parking lot were so convenient for dinner. Both offer excellent food and great service. Also, the Barncastle restaurant offered excellent food in a casual atmosphere. The supermarket nearby had everything one needed for eating in. We also liked the two deli type restaurants in town. Check on concerts offered at the Congregational Church across the street. We went to one offered by four of the voice faculty from the University of Maine. A very nice evening. Also check on what might be offered at the Grand Theatre in Ellsworth. We watched John and his sons putting on the finishing touches on the tasting room of their brewery. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the grand opening. Without reservation, I would recommend this VRBO. I hope to return to do the same things we did this trip but in the autumn of the year. This is where I would stay again.
