Birthday weekend in the Catskills

5 of 5
Three couples and three singles enjoyed this Catskills retreat in early August. The home is gorgeous, spotless and comfortably fit our large party with room to spare. The open spaces allowed for hanging out as one large group or several small groups. The kitchen was to die for and we enjoyed every meal on the premise. As an aside, the kitchen is large enough to allow for many chefs in the kitchen! We ventured off the property twice: once for a jog around the reservoir (~ 5min from the house) and also to Peekamoose swimming hole (~35 minutes). Both were beautiful. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in the Catskills.

What a fantastic week with the family!!

5 of 5
Jordan's Chalet provided the perfect get-away for our family. The chalet is rustic but very comfortable, hidden in woods and very quiet. It is located at the end of a cove and has beautiful view of the cove and lake. The docks on the lake provide a perfect place to swim, fish and have fun with the family. The back deck is just a great place for everyone to relax and converse. The owners were great to work with and make themselves available for you. If you are going to Smith Mountain Lake we would recommend Jordan's Chalet to anyone. This was the most relaxing vacation we ever had. We have certainly saved it as one of our favorites!

Time of Our Life

5 of 5
We had the most wonderful family get together at this serene retreat. The manager was helpful in suggesting great places to hike, bike and not-to-miss locations. The house is idyllic and so many areas for a big group not to feel like we were on top of one another. The grounds were serene and there was nothing quite like having a cup of coffee on the tower deck in the early morning. The hot tub was soothing and we spent a good amount of time just lounging and enjoying the house which was well kept and exactly what we needed to disconnect and recharge. We will surely be back again soon.
