Enchanting summer

5 of 5
WOW! Love this place. You really have the feeling of Santa Fe staying at the Flying Adobe. The accommodation is awesome. There everything there, extra paper towels, TP and free Wi-Fi. You don't get free Wi-Fi in a 4 star hotel. The place is near Whole Food for grocery needs. The walk to the plaza is refreshing. There a nice Santa Fe River on the way. The Historic Guadalupe neighborhood has a very quaint feeling also easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. If you are come for the summer there a A/C in the bedroom that cool down all the rooms. My stay was short. I will be back again.

Great Retreat Home!

5 of 5
We had an awesome time and Billy's place is location was perfect for us!!! Thanks to prompt and detailed descriptions of everything that we needed to know to be comfortable in the Valley View unit...it was a wonderful place situated just far away enough from the busy commercial area of Vail but close enough you can hop a free shuttle! We were very comfortable here and look forward to a return visit!!! The new windows solved the upstairs ventiliation concern and with the bathroon window open and the fans on low, it cooled down perfectly! Previously a winter visitor, future quests may be interested in what to do in the summer to get a taste of the area. I would recommend hiking the Cherry Picker trail and taking the Gondola down, driving/hiking at Piney Lake Ranch (if you have an SUV); this is a less populated Alpine hiking experience and comparable to Maroon Bells! Drive to Glenwood Spings for a rafting adventure with Whitewater Rafting, and rent bikes in town to really get the lay of the land! Is you have kids the Betty Ford Amphitheater and park was a favorite for my grandson. There's much more...and on the down-low within walking distance the park and creek was a haven to relax around or just chill on the deck. Oh...there's a great breakfast at the local Westside Cafe (next to McD and Safeway)! Regards and thanks for sharing you slice of paradise! Karen & Scott Minneapolis, Mn

Such a nice place to stay in Asland

5 of 5
After staying in Ashland vacation rentals in 10 different theatre district locations, the Victorian Secret rates among the best. Close to the shops, Shakespeare festival, and Lithia Park, you get back in your car out of choice not necessity. The rooms are nicer than pictured, charming and well appointed. The kitchen has everything one needs if cooking elaborate meals is your thing on vacation. The matress toppers are soft and luxurious although personally I like a very firm sleeping surface. And one other possible nitpick is getting in and out of the upstairs claw foot tub. I can imagine this could present a problem for an elderly guest, but fortunately there is a walk in shower downstairs. Overall, the Victorian Secret represents good value for the price, and I'm confident that staying here will enhance the quality of your experience in Ashland.
