GREAT 4TH OF JULY FAMILY REUNION!

5 of 5
Truly an amazing place to stay and a great venue for a family reunion! Everyone in my family loved the house and with 20+ adults and children, there was plenty of room in the house to sleep and move around in. The game room was SPECTACULAR where there was so many games you could play and it's HUGE! Both kids and children enjoyed all the amenities the game room had to offer and spent lots of time there. Loved that the house pretty much had an open layout where the kitchen was open to both dining room and living area so the cooks in our family where always part of the conversation. We had great weather, so we also got to enjoy the huge deck where there was plenty of space for everyone and enjoyed a great BBQ! to summarize, EVERYONE had a great stay and highly recommend the place! thanks again, Colleen!

VERY NICE, LIKE BRAND NEW.

5 of 5
The teenagers had a great time downstairs in the game room. The pool table was great hit with adults as well and enable us to interact with the teenagers. The hot tub was a great hit with them as well. The tennis courts, volley ball and beach were enjoyed as well. We also did bowling which was a lot of fun. I especially enjoy the Brown fish and pay just a few miles away on RT115 just down from the race track. We definitely would recommend this place to friends. The restaurants in the area were excellent as well. The little deli had great subs, coming originally from PA and now in CT, it was a real treat. We had 14 people, 6 teenage boys and it was plenty of room. We enjoyed hooking up the iPad to the large screen TV in the living room to watch the World Cup games. Lots of area to walk and for the younger ones to ride their bikes as well.

WONDERFUL STAY IN THE POCONOS

5 of 5
Christine, We wanted to thank you for the use of your Pocono home. The house was wonderful – very spacious and with every amenity you could think of. Even the dogs made themselves right at home. The weather was not very cooperative so we spent more time indoors than we planned. With a teen and a pre-teen along, that could have been a bit challenging, but the number of board games and movies you had available took care of that concern. Even with the excellent wireless, the kids really enjoyed playing board games and actually left the i-pads and i-phones take a break at times. We had planned on doing a lot of fishing and bicycling, but the rain kept us from those activities. We did really enjoy the deer which came very close to the deck. I think the deer enjoyed it as well (at least they enjoyed the bread, popcorn and apples). We did do some interesting things – the kids are big on ghost hunter shows so we went to the Old Jail Museum in Jim Thorpe. Not an expert on that sort of thing but the girls mentioned ‘orbs’ and whatever they are, some orbs appeared in some of their old cell block photos. They also had a good time horseback riding at Deer Path Stables. Now our niece’s mother is hearing how bad her daughter needs a horse! You had an excellent list of restaurants, but we mostly cooked our own meals. The one exception was Murphy’s Loft which had some very good sandwiches. Our granddaughter loves French onion soup and theirs was some of the best we had. One day we road tripped to the Old Country Junction store which is really a must see. They have everything you can think of. Later that evening we continued on to Becky’s Drive-In in Walnutport which has to be the nicest drive in we have ever been to. Even a passing thunderstorm didn’t cause much concern. Finally, since it was too cold to do the waterpark at camelback, we took the girls to Dorney Park on Saturday when the weather was a little better.
