A True Thanksgiving Treasure

5 of 5
We travel to St. Augustine every Thanksgiving for our family gathering and each time try to stay somewhere new. After enjoying this precious bungalow for a week our family has no desire to stay anywhere else. The property is immaculate and the owners have covered every possible detail to make one feel welcome and appreciated. We could walk to all the events in town and the neighborhood allows you to savor the feel of sleepy St. Augustine in spite of the holiday crush. Our family gives this charming, cozy, loved bungalow a ten star rating.

really enjoyed it!

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time staying in Pete's Unit A. Lots of natural light, fun & quirky Austin vibe (go through bedroom to get to kitchen, through kitchen to get to bathroom), spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped for us to cook breakfast every morning, enjoy a glass of wine and a few nibbles in the evening. We could have cooked dinner, too, but chose to enjoy the wonderful restaurants around town (VinoVino, Asti, Mother's Cafe & many others are a short walk away). Pete was very responsive & helpful. The keyless entry system worked like a charm. I would highly recommend this place for a couple, though 3 could stay if they get on well (bathroom is off the office/porch w/ the second bed/daybed).

Perfect Location for seeing beautiful Spokane.

4 of 5
This beautifully restored home with a gorgeous back yard is minutes from downtown by car and provides excellent access to nearby cycling trails, restaurants and tourist sites. The house is immaculately clean but I do agree with a previous writer who mentioned the need for a toaster and kettle and I would add hooks in the bathroom for wet towels as well as some reading lights as it is quite dark. We didn't meet the owner but she was very accommodating when we made an error in our departure date and was able to let us stay the extra day. We found endless things to do in Spokane and were so impressed with the number and quality of cycling/walking trails. The city is beautiful and easy to get around. We especially loved Wild Sage for dinner and also enjoyed Central Food. Although the house is in a transitional area, we felt entirely comfortable and safe.
