Wonderfully Secluded with Close Access to Door County!

            5 of 5
Our family - my partner & two sons (ages 7 & 11) and my parents - spent almost a week at Moonlight Magic, and could have easily stayed longer. This is a gorgeous, quiet place - within simple drives of all the fun that Door County offers! We drove to some sandy beaches, explored light houses, took a ferry ride to Washington Island, etc - and came home every evening to a quiet, peaceful location right on the lake. We saw multiple geese; had many campfires; played board games... Tammy and her family are SO responsive to guest needs! We feel very fortunate to have found Moonlight Magic, and have already visited with friends about the possibility of returning next year! Thanks, Tammy! You have a beautiful property!

Great ... with a couple caveats

            4 of 5
We enjoyed 5 wonderful days at this log cabin, which - as others have said - is as described. Fred was prompt and helpful in responding to our questions in advance of our arrival. A couple things you should know: the ladder to the loft is steep, making it a challenge for anyone who may have to make a trip to the bathroom during the night. For persons who have challenges with fragrances, know that we found the bedroom on the ground floor had a fairly strong mold smell, which is understandable for an older cabin. In addition, the strong fragrance of odor eliminators placed throughout the cabin was a challenge for us, since we're sensitive to strong smells. Fortunately the weather was nice, so we could keep the windows open to provide fresh air. The cabin contains fun and remarkable family memorabilia, which provides for interesting reading. One final piece: it took a follow-up email and two weeks to get our deposit back, a bit of a surprise, given how responsive Fred was on the front end.
