We recently had the pleasure of staying a week at this beautiful, gabled, three story Lake Michigan beach house with our family of six. This home has character. The large pine paneled living room with fireplace and den is the central gathering place that looks out to the sun room toward the lake. Out of the sun room is a multiple tiered deck with direct access to the beach. We built a bonfire every night with a good view of the stars, as we were far enough away from Milwaukee to have little light pollution from the city.
Kitchen is nicely updated with a bay window. Bathrooms are also modern and comfortable, and the three bedrooms are quite good sized. There is also a good deal of privacy, as the home is on a dead-end lane, nestled within the trees.
The owners obviously take pride in their home. When we arrived, somehow there was not a grain of sand or a pine needle in the home; it was immaculate. Linens were top notch and beds were quite comfortable. Each room has a ceiling fan and we were never hot. Kitchen is well equipped for all the cooking you may want to do. The basement walkout has exercise equipment and plenty of room for storage of gear. We were there for the week long Tour of America's Dairyland bicycle race and had plenty of room for all our bikes, trainers, extra wheels, and tools. A washer and dryer is also down there.
I would highly recommend this home for a Lake Michigan beach vacation. Comfortable, very clean, quiet, and inviting make this a place to which I would return for another get away. The owners even mailed us a few items we forgot and were quite easy to deal with during the reservation process. Come here and relax!
