The cabins were so nice and clean, exactly as described. We felt like we were the only people around, yet we were close enough if we needed bait or supplies. If we wanted more of a selection, Portage was only 15-20 minutes away, and a bit beyond that was the Dells and the casino (which wasn't too friendly to us that day ;( ). Our family of 4 rented one unit and my parents rented the other...it was great - opened the adjoining door and it really seemed much bigger, and we could share everything - one of us cooked, the other did all the dishes. I loved that it was pet friendly, so our puppy didn't have to be boarded for the weekend while we were enjoying ourselves. The boat launch was 2-3 minutes away...the next drive down the road...and this property had stairs to get down to the water for a quick wade. It was a relaxing long weekend with a focus on fishing...and by the way, the fish were biting! We had a great weekend, and wouldn't hesitate to rent this one again. The owner, Craig, was friendly, helpful and great to work with. Thanks, Craig, we had a great time. :)

I rented this house for my parents' anniversary. The house is very clean, well maintained and very, very cozy. It provides comfort, privacy and relaxation. There is a great fire pit outside with a very comfortable seating area. We loved it. I highly recommend it.

Went with 3 girls and had a great girls weekend at this cabin. It was cozy and warm once we got the fire going which took a while because the firewood was wet. Would suggest you bring some dry kindling. The hot tub was awesome even though the weather went from 50's on Friday to only 15 on Sunday morning. Didn't matter because the hot tub was nice and hot. A few suggestions though if you go in winter, bring an extra large rug or two to put down over the ice. It was very icy and there was no salt and you have to walk uphill to get to the cabin and over ice to get to the hot tub. It also would be nice to have better comfortable furniture for watching a movie. The 2 rocking chairs are not that comfy. And if you sleep upstairs, beware the critters up in the ceiling are very noisy at night. Whatever they were, squirrels or mice, they were running back and forth constantly. We would definitely go back. Fall would be a really nice time to go.
