Love this place! When do I get to go back?

5 of 5
Wow. This home puts Downton Abbey to shame! From the minute my husband and I walked into this place for our big family reunion, we were so impressed by it's classic beauty and intricate details. We eagerly bounded up the stairs to our awesome room with a view of the lake. Often I find that the more beautiful the decor, the less at home and cozy I feel, but not true in this home! Our whole family kept remarking on how beautiful but also how comfortable and relaxing the home was for us. We loved BBQ-ing on the gorgeous patio and catching up around the fire pits until 1am. I need to look into getting outdoor furniture as comfortable as theirs! We could have been thrilled enough with the home alone, but the location is excellent too! We walked to the beach in no time for soccer on the beach and volleyball tournaments--such a blast! And my dad, cousins, and I hopped on bikes they provide for an easy ride to bars and restaurants. We had such fun exploring Sheboygan on bike and foot, which from the home is quite easy to do. For those who wanted to stay put there was tons to do in the basement, like Foosball, pool, having a cocktail at the bar! Seriously, my husband and I are figuring out how we can get a group of folks there this fall because the weekend was rejuvenating, filled with fun activities, and was in such a beautiful setting--love that patio!! Also, the owners were so nice and easy to communicate with! Can't wait to book with them and enjoy their beautiful home again soon! Thanks, Chris!

A true Hidden Gem

5 of 5
" We've returned to Door County many times over the past 30 years and stayed in a number of different places, and we have a new favorite. So many Door county accommodations are not on the water, and that's one of the reasons we enjoyed Sully's so much. I loved having my morning coffee on the screened porch sitting in a very comfy chair looking out on the bay. My son liked napping on the hammock near the water. And everyone enjoyed our dinners on the deck. With the sun and the view it doesn't get any better, unless you catch a sunset sitting around a bonfire in the fire pit on the shore. That was the best! The guys golfed at the Peninsula State Park course in Ephraim, we did a fish boil in Fish Creek, had lunch at the Cookery and frozen custard at "Not Licked Yet", which are some of our family traditions. And the wine tasting this year was at Door Peninsula winery which is just a few miles up the road. But mostly we enjoyed our "laid back" time at the house catching up with family. For our party of 7 adults there was plenty of space for doing things together or separately. With the porch, the deck, the living room and the downstairs family room, everyone could get away to do their own thing. On two evenings we served dinner to 15 people. With all the space and that beautiful, well equipped kitchen, it was a breeze. It's a very thoughtfully and well designed home and so much more then the usual vacation rental. When I saw the pictures on the web, I thought it looked good, but walking in, I knew that the pictures didn't do it justice. It's a great place for a vacation and close to many of the attractions Door County has to offer. "

Girls' Getaway

4 of 5
A perfect, secluded spot for a nice relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a major perk, but all other amenities were great as well. Would definitely recommend this for a girls' weekend!
