                  The Best Cabin Stay Ever!

                  5 of 5
This is a wonderful cabin with a fantastic location for relaxing and enjoying time with your family. The cabin smelled so good and was so clean when we arrived, we fell in love with it right away. The décor was so perfect and cabin like, with extra blankets and comfy pillows everywhere, it was a perfect trip. What a nice kitchen, with everything that you need to cook great meals. We used the oven and the really nice and convenient gas grill. Every utensil that you'd need was there. We ate at the cabin every night. It was like our home away from home, it was just so cozy & relaxing. The fire pit was perfect for smores & just hanging out. The river was so relaxing and fun to walk in and fish so close to home. The little pier was great to sit on and read a book, the river sound was heavenly. The loft was so perfect for the kids to have a space of their own and the beds were way too comfortable. We went fishing at a place on Hwy 55 that was a park with a war memorial, it was such a fun place to fish & walk in the river. We rented a boat on Pelican Lake in Rhinelander and had a great time. I would recommend this gem to anyone who wanted a nice cabin to stay at. David was always very nice and helpful when we emailed with questions. Thanks for a great week!!!!! The Winder Family

"A fantastic Wisconsin “Up North” experience..."

                  4 of 5
We were very satisfied with the vacation rental. Our family enjoyed the cottage, Chute Pond and the surrounding area a great deal. There are plenty of things to do, regardless of the weather. Close by there are many trails to hike and plenty of other outdoor activities to keep friends/family busy for as long as you plan to stay. The cottage was a great place to entertain guests; especially if you take advantage of the fire pit and the sunset views. The living area and porch were great places to relax and enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the ducks, swans and geese. The kitchen was well equipped. Many of the lakeside bars/restaurants were nearby and the food and drink are reasonably priced. With all of the hot weather we experienced while we were using the cottage we did have the need to use the air conditioning a few nights, so having that option was a nice plus. Everything was in working order. And if it wasn’t I’m sure a call to Al would have corrected the problem. With all of the different outdoor activities available, for children and adults, our family would again consider renting this cottage from “youse guys…fer sure”. Thanks!

An absolutely amazing place to stay!

                  5 of 5
We spent the week of July 4th at Pine Haven during our annual trip to Lakewood from the Atlanta, GA area. We love coming to the northwoods at this time of year since the weather is refreshingly cool (compared to Atlanta) and this cabin is exactly what we were looking for. The craftsmanship of the home is beautiful and comfortable and there was nothing nicer than sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying our coffee while the loons sang on the three adjacent lakes, the cows roamed the meadows in front of us, etc. In the evenings we enjoyed the firepit and listened to the crickets...it's amazing how quiet and secluded you feel, while being only 10 minutes from the main town. The hosts were also wonderful, this cabin is part of a legendary resort in the area and the meticulous care that they take of the grounds is wonderful. When you stay here you have access to 4+ lakes and each one has rowboats and some have canoes and paddleboats that you can use. Our family also enjoyed the weekly hayride through the expansive 170 acres and although we had other plans and couldn't join them for dessert, we heard from other people that it is not to be missed! There is no better place to stay in the Lakewood/Mountain area!
