Recent Lake Sinissippi Reviews

very well maintained, spottless

5 of 5
WOW!!!! It was far more than we expected. Everything that one would need was there. From the linen to toilet paper and paper towels . Spacious, clean, fully furnished in one of the prettiest settings you could ask for. Meeting Dianna is like going to your sisters house. She starts with the me casa you casa and if you need anything else don't hesitate to ask cause if need be Husband Tom would do your grocery shopping for you . We would highly recommend staying here simply because it is truly as peaceful and tranquil a setting as you could ask for. Yes there are Deer, Pelicans, Eagles, more little critters than you can count and Owls. The great North 45 minutes from the Big City. We thank you Dianna and Tom for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We will be back Bill Reed and Patty Massalske

Very Cozy

5 of 5
It was perfect for me & my husband. Clean, small & cozy! The location is very easy to find & a small town isn't far at all. We ventured there & went to the Library's Book Sale! The day we arrived was my husband's bday. When we got there Barb & Rick had gotten him a cheesecake & card! That was so nice, we weren't expecting that at all!! We didn't have any luck with fishing but I guess that's just how things go sometimes. We bought our fishing license at Walmart & it was kind of expensive. (In IL, I believe it's $13.50 for a yr.) We loved having a campfire every night! On the last night we stayed, the neighbor's son was having a bday party & they had fireworks! It was very nice. We managed to get out & explore as well. We found a cute antique shop in Beaver Dam with very reasonable prices. The roads are well maintained & smooth. (We're from IL & we're used to a rough road.) I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Great escape from the city

5 of 5
We absolutely loved this place. We had 4 adults 2 dogs and a 3 month old baby and at no point did we feel crowded. The fenced yard was so awesome for the dogs to run around, and to boot the place comes with pooper scooper so no need to bend down (Fyi it's located by the extra tiki torches). It was chilly and gloomy for September for our stay but boy did the clean hot tub make up for that. i love to fish and yea it was not good but who really cares when your in such a comfortable setting. Thanks again to the owners and especially Todd for being close by if we needed anything. We will definitely be back.
