                PERFECTION!

                5 of 5
We found this home on VRBO and based on the reviews decided to rent it for Memorial Weekend.....I am SOOO glad we made that decision. This was such a beautiful place that I feel I must write a review (we normally don't). This was the perfect place for us. We wanted to stay someplace private...We wanted someplace with a view....we wanted someplace centrally located .....We wanted a place that was clean and tasteful with all of the amenities we would need....This home offered all of the above and more. The view is absolutely priceless....the privacy is surreal...the home was beautifully decorated and equipped. We absolutely loved our stay. The best was the guide that Ray provided...we packed in as much as we could over this weekend. We started at Seneca Rocks...hiking to the top! Then visited Smoke Hole Caverns. Then spent the early evening atop Spruce Knob Mt. We circled through Canaan Valley and Blackwater falls...including eating at Sirianni's (which was wonderful).....Thank you for offering such a great property. If you ever decide to sell,.....let me know!

GREAT STAY IN A BEAUTIFUL CABIN!

                5 of 5
Our son and daughter in law invited us to stay with them at their long weekend in the woods. They had stayed at a couple of the other properties here in the past and loved it. Wow is all I can say! Gorgeous house. Loved everything about it. The views were lovely. The hot tub was great. The loft bedroom with the jacuzzi bath was awesome. It was such a beautiful and relaxing weekend away from the real world. Our grandkids had a great time, hiking, fishing, hot tub. All the furniture was so comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!! I would recommend not accidentally locking and shutting the downstairs bedroom door as there is no key. The management came out quickly to open it for us, but it could have been a problem. ? The owners were so very nice. We had an issue with our car and they were so helpful, considerate, and just amazing!!! They went over and beyond and we were so grateful!!

                LOVELY AND ROMANTIC GETAWAY

                5 of 5
Nothing but nice things to say about the cabin and the property management. It was easy to rent and very reasonably priced, especially considering the location, the seclusion, and the overall appearance and cleanliness of the cabin. Everything was exactly as described. We would definitely stay again. It is close to Spruce Knob and Spruce Lake and all kinds of wonderful hiking trails. The basics are all there for a lovely stay - just bring your own food & drink, and DVD's if you want to watch any movies (there is no television or cable reception). If you forget anything, the Riverton Mart a few miles away has basic sundries. The Gateway restaurant is a nice little diner and there are a lot of restaurants (and a full-sized grocery store) in nearby Franklin. There is pretty much no cell phone or 3/4G reception for your smart phones and tablets.
