This place has it all: First class accommodations in a fabulous setting at a great price!

5 of 5
Cliffside Falls does not feel like a rental villa… it feels like home. The owners have done a remarkable job of updating all the furnishings and paint colors. Everything is first class but not at all stuffy. We have visited twice so far, with friends. We hope to return with all of our 4 children and 6 grandkids. There will be plenty of room for everyone. The game room has a huge TV, a regulation size pool table, foosball and two working slot machines. All the bedrooms are large and comfortable. Most of them have balconies and all of them have view of the falls or the mountains. Cracking the windows at night lulled us to sleep with the soothing sounds of the waterfalls. The Master suite is huge. The kitchen is large and fully stocked - to facilitate use of the indoor and outdoor eating areas. We took the hike down the side of the cliff to the falls. This is an adventure that most able-bodied people can enjoy, but not for the frail or faint of heart. Well worth the effort though, to enjoy the beautiful natural setting and dual falls with their multiple pools and cascades through the rocky canyon below the house. Wildlife abounds. The host and hostess were delightful and helpful without hindering our private enjoyment of the property. We just can’t say enough about how special this place is. We look forward to returning and sharing it with our family.

Canine Haven for the Eagles!

5 of 5
We stayed at the Eagle's Haven in Feb 2014. Though some of our group couldn't make it at the last minute, even if they had - this house would still have been more than we needed! We loved the spacious rooms.. Open living room/dining/kitchen area surrounded by the wonderful gated deck. The canines loved sunbathing in that deck while we enjoyed the hot tub, though we thought something to block the almost constant breeze from chilling you so much while in the hot tub would have made it feel warmer. Brr! Loved the grill on the deck right outside from the kitchen. We thought about making a fire in the fire ring, but it was a bit chilly and damp to gather wood. Better instructions, maybe a diagram, to figure out how to turn the shower on in the downstairs bathroom would have helped a great deal too. The coffee pot leaked when we first used it, and the new one was delivered the next morning. (We informed them about midday/evening time.) The downstairs movie viewing and upstairs gaming time were both hits! People and canines all had a great time! Hope we get the chance to stay again! And maybe next time we will make it to the ponds, (signs showing which way to go would help.. Though the slick roads would have kept us either way I think.) It was neat to drive down the road and see the other rentals. If we ever come back as a smaller group, we may try one in the future. Still, I think we'd all love a return trip to Eagle's Haven, though hopefully with more snow!
