GREAT SPOT FOR A GROUP RIGHT NEXT TO RIVER RIDERS

4 of 5
We had a group of 10 guys who used this spot as home base for our weekend in Harper's Ferry where we floated down the river with River Riders and hit Charles Town for "races and slots." It's the perfect location for any River Riders activity since you just have to walk across a field to get there. The house itself was clean and had the right amount of sleeping arrangements for 10, as long as you're willing to double up in king beds. It's not going to blow you away with amenities, and only two full baths is a challenge for a group of 10, but it worked well for us. The owner was very responsive as we approached out stay and even offered to mail a forgotten item after we left.

WONDERFUL SITE FOR OUR FAMILY GET-TOGETHER

5 of 5
We found the Adventure Inn to be a large, comfortable, well-maintained house convenient to food, hiking, and activities in Harper's Ferry and Charles Town. It was the perfect size and configuration for our family to celebrate Memorial Day and our baby's first birthday, with a generous great room, quiet living room, and sleeping quarters for 14 (we peaked at 8), including two master bedrooms. The hot tub was a nice touch. Thank you River Riders!

CLEAN & UNIQUE RENTAL

5 of 5
By far one of cleanest dog friendly stays we have ever had. Which was great because we were stuck inside over half our trip due to storms and bad weather.Glad we could enjoy the house. We did use the outside stairs to bring in the luggage and walk the dog as the spiral staircase was too difficult for her. The outside steps worked just fine though and we loved the little deck off the bedroom and so did our dog. For us it was an easy walk to down town Harpers Ferry. Yes, it is up hill on the way back. We really liked the wine store down town. Wished we could have gone to the parks but it was raining. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was quiet, clean, close to historical sights and places to eat. Property owners were easy to work with and again the cleanest rental you could ever ask for! We would rent here again if we are ever back in the area.
