Clean & Unique Rental

5 of 5
By far one of cleanest dog friendly stays we have ever had. Which was great because we were stuck inside over half our trip due to storms and bad weather.Glad we could enjoy the house. We did use the outside stairs to bring in the luggage and walk the dog as the spiral staircase was too difficult for her. The outside steps worked just fine though and we loved the little deck off the bedroom and so did our dog. For us it was an easy walk to down town Harpers Ferry. Yes, it is up hill on the way back. We really liked the wine store down town. Wished we could have gone to the parks but it was raining. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was quiet, clean, close to historical sights and places to eat. Property owners were easy to work with and again the cleanest rental you could ever ask for! We would rent here again if we are ever back in the area.

Charming and cozy - a perfect Christmas

5 of 5
Moonridge Cottage was even more than I had hoped for. My boyfriend and I wanted to do something special to celebrate our Christmas, and thought an out-of-the-way (but convenient) cabin in the woods would be perfect. And it was. I was delighted with the special care that Bobby took to make the cabin cozy and festive. Upon our arrival, the wood stove was burning, the tree decorated, and wine waiting on the table. Fresh bread was served to complete the homey atmosphere. Bobby could not have been more accomodating with our early arrival and late departure. Our stay was wonderful, and will return in the spring to enjoy the next phase of mother nature.
