Cozy and Relaxing Retreat!

5 of 5
The house was a perfect retreat! It had enough space for our group of ten, and was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, from lots of extra towels and fleece blankets to chairs and umbrellas. The view from the deck is gorgeous - nothing but trees in sight - and the house is really convenient to hiking and town. We highly recommend it for a getaway!

Cozy home with GREAT outdoor living

4 of 5
The Ladybug Lodge was a very nice respite from city life. Upon arrival, we were in need of linens and we called the owner, who immediately sent over a housekeeper with the proper linens (much appreciated). The house was clean and had tons of room to sit and hang out. It had a very rustic feel to it (no doorknobs on bedroom doors), but they just added to the charm. My friends and I all slept with doors open. The one downside to the inside of the home was that there just seemed to be a few cobwebs around, no big deal, and since it's in such a woodsy area, no real surprise though. The star of the show had to be the entire lot that we were allowed to use, we brought our dogs and they were able to run and run across this huge lot. The stream is just steps from the door and the yard includes a fire pit, multiple tables, chairs, two decks, fire wood and even yard games. Great for families!

Beautiful Place in the Woods for a Get Together

5 of 5
We recently (Nov 09') spent a weekend at "Quiet Haven" with all of our extended family - nine of us. What a great setup for just getting together to just hang out. Great fireplace with couches to relax in and carry on the fire side chats. Plenty of room for game playing, guitar playing and sleeping. Towels and Linens are provided - that was a nice benefit. The weather was nice so we played some tennis and basketball as well as hiked up through the woods. Lastly, the owners were a pleasure to work with - very nice folks. I highly recommend the place for a family get-together as we had or for multiple couples looking for a nice get away destination.
