We spent several nights here with two adults and three teenagers. We had easy communications with the owner to arrange our last-minute trip. Upon arrival, the teens immediately ran through the tall grass and slipped down to the sandy beach. It was a quiet stretch of beautiful beach with very few people strolling by. We enjoyed rock collecting, wading out into the shallow water, flying kites, frisbee and playing in the sand. Vehicles are not allowed to drive on the beach in front of this home during the summer. However, beach driving can be accessed not too far south toward Grayland. (More people there.) We were the first to rent the home in early July 2014 and the sofa bed had not yet been delivered. Internet had not yet been connected. If you need those, be sure to check with the owner that these amenities are available. We really appreciated that there were paper products, soap, shampoo and lotion provided in all bathrooms; plus the kitchen had paper towel, plastic wrap and foil. The view from the living room windows is fabulous with the water beyond the tall, waving grass. We saw picturesque sunsets, deer and birds from the home. We were surprised by mosquitoes in the grass areas even when the wind was blowing. The large screen for watching DVD movies was a hit with the teenagers, and there was a separate TV with cable. The home is lovely and comfortable, and we would stay here again for a quiet seaside retreat.
