A Special gathering deserves only the best!

5 of 5
This house was a welcome retreat for my family reunion of sisters, nieces and cousins. The house itself is beautifully decorated and gave us a very pleasant feeling the minute we walked in. The house was equipped with everything we needed, from pots and pans, dishes, and glasses, to linens and towels. Each of the bedrooms offered comfortable beds, and each were nicely decorated. Even the bathrooms are incredible. The kitchen is big and beautiful with modern appliances and a top of the line gas stove that made cooking a special treat. And the super long dining table was perfect for us to visit comfortably while feasting. The location of the house is central to many of Seattle’s best attractions. The arboretum is close by, and there are several great restaurants not far away. Cafe Flora, and Cafe Presse were particular favorites. It was easier for us to use our van to get around and we traveled far and wide visiting our favorite spots. For downtown Seattle, the best parking is at Pacific Place. My family and I now have some terrific memories of our time spent in this house. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

~ a great family trip ~

5 of 5
We greatly enjoyed our 7-day stay at this Magnolia house. It was a perfect fit for our family of eight, which included a 6-yr old child. There was ample space to gather as a family and private spaces for each one to recharge for all the activities available in the area. We only cooked breakfast and brunch and the kitchen was fine for that. Discovery Park up the street was a real find. Restaurants in Ballard were plentiful, but we did not like that so many did not welcome children. For several of us, the dinner at The Walrus and the Carpenter was the highlight meal of the week. Opens at 4 and does not take reservations so you better be there in line early. For others, the relatively inexpensive lunch at Salumi in the Pioneer Square area was tops. The house was close to many of the activities on our ‘to-do’ list and traffic, which we heard was awful, was manageable. A day trip to Friday Harbor with a whale watching trip and sunset kayaking was a favorite activity. Although the logistics of moving eight people from the east coast to Seattle were not simple, the time spent together at this house was worth it.

Fantastic apartment

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed in this property for four nights in August '14. It surpassed all our expectations in how beautiful, well-located and well-equipped it is. The attention to detail in terms of decor and equipment is of a very high standard. It is a very comfortable place to stay and is very close to great shops and restaurants (a few minutes walk) with easy and quick bus links to downtown. Perfect as we did not have a car. Capitol Hill is a great neighbourhood and this apartment is a great base for exploring the city. We loved it!
