Truly a home away from home!

5 of 5
It is a challenge not to write an entire chapter describing how perfect SeaEscape was for our little family reunion of 7 adults. The location was perfectly situated near all the events and sites we visited, mostly downtown. The home was so charmingly decorated and cozy - touches of elegance but not creating that 'afraid to touch' feeling. It was immaculate, and Lynn was good to communicate a couple of items they were in the process of taking care of during our stay, just as all diligent homeowners must do from time to time. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed, and the 'sample' starter items were more than generous in the kitchen and baths. Lovely neighborhood and views - the eagle perched in the feature photo was there during our stay as well! Lynn was quick to respond to a couple last minute questions about the neighborhood and local fish markets, and we did enjoy Kinnaree Thai Cuisine and and Mulleady's Irish Pub in the Magnolia neighborhood. Enjoyed the parks nearby. Our stay was packed with adventures, and included time to relax - even grilled fresh salmon. I hope to return to Seattle again one day and this would definitely be my first choice to stay. The listing did not disappoint! So glad I found it in my search!

Great Location

4 of 5
We had a wedding to attend as a family so we decided to get a vacation rental instead of a hotel. I am so glad that I did. The location of this rental was fantastic, directly across the street from the beach walk way in beautiful Alki area of West Seattle. The property was very nice and had a great beach feel. The house is a duplex which I didn't realize, but we didn't hear the people upstairs until the last day, they also have a large dog, which wasn't a problem for us, but just something we weren't aware of. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. The bedrooms were well decorated with the exception of the back right side bedroom. I was a disappointed that it was not as comfortable as the other two. The bed/bunk bed trundle bed combination should really be replaced as my daughter and her husband said that the bed was very uncomfortable and they were unable to sleep on it. The second night my son in law slept on the couch. It may be okay for children but not for adults. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and were happy to be there as a family

Cozy, Intimate & Warm Studio

5 of 5
Where do I even begin describing our wonderful stay here! My husband and I spent our 2 year wedding anniversary at this joyful little studio. We arrived late after 10:30pm from our flight. We came into the studio easily (keypad lock code) and extra key available just in case. The lights were on and the radio was set to the most eclectic station (which we turned on religiously every morning we were there, we LOVED it). This place was designed and equipped with all the essentials you'd need to feel at home away from home. Located in Capitol Hill close enough to downtown (10-15 min) but far enough for peace and quiet. Top Pot doughnuts was down the street and a little convenient store (where we purchased fire logs). Downtown Capitol Hill had all the cutest places to eat total hipster-ville (Liberty bar- whiskey & sushi was the coolest! Witness chicken & waffles MUST TRY). The studio was perfect equipped with tiny kitchen, stove, dishwasher, mini refrigerator (with ice cube maker!) cooking utensils, etc. The washer & dryer came in handy during our 10 day stay. The bed was cozy and came with a heated mattress pad adjustable setting for each side (big plus since seattle was going through a cold spell during our stay). There's plenty of space for 2 people to have a comfortable stay here. This studio was clean and organized. We never met the owners but we did have just a few hiccups, nothing big, and he got back to us within minutes. They had binders with tons of recommendations to restaurants (we spent our anniversarry dinner at The Carpentar & The Walrus). We loved every minute of our stay in this studio and were sad to leave. We had a rental car during our trip which came in handy because we wanted to drive out to Canada (they had a reserved parking spot available). We would recommend this studio to anyone who wants to visit Seattle. Thank you for creating such a wonderful little space for travel bugs like ourselves!
