November at the Olympic Cottage

5 of 5
The cottage was a great place to stay. It was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and I even cooked Thanksgiving dinner for our son's family who came from Mercer Island for the day. Paula was a delight to deal with and Mary was quite helpful getting us settled in. we enjoyed the deer on the golf course, watching the occasional golfer, walking around the neighbor and hiking on the dike. We also went to Port Angeles, Port Townsend, and Silverdale, Hurricane Ridge, the beach at Dungeness Spit, the Railroad Bridge and Audubon Society, The Wild Game Reserve and John Wayne Marina. And, we bought a house! We ate at several Mexican Restaurants, the Black Bear, the John Wayne Marina, the Dockside Grill in PA, the restaurant at Lake Crescent, 101 Diner, The Oak Table, The Mariner, and one I've forgotten, plus shopped for organic groceries at Sunny Farms. The weather was sunny most of the time but we did have a beautiful surprise snow and the cottage setting was perfect. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone who wants to spend a fun filled month in Sequim. It's a great place for a golfer, too.

fly fishing-turkey dinner eating-campfire singing heaven

5 of 5
Three families of 50 to 70-something folks landed here with fly rods (the gents!) and books and fixin's for a turkey dinner! Oh yes, some Rye Whiskey, a little champagne and high hopes... and we were NOT disappointed. The cabin is clean and comfortable, and the water access for fly fishing Cutties, Nooks and Silvers was private and lovely. We have already re-booked for next year, same time! Plan to eat in, however, as the restaurant choices nearby were slim and disappointing. Who cares...-it's all about home cooking!! Loved the outdoor fire pit!

Ladies weekend retreat!

5 of 5
I have rented several rentals in WA, OR & AZ and this one was by far one of the best! The owner is extremely generous and called us to make sure we had everything we needed the first night we got there. Myself and 9 other ladies spent a 3 day weekend here and absolutely loved it! 8 of us arrived at the same time and ran through the house like little girls screaming with excitement and picking our beds! The game room is exceptional! Everything you could possibly want is in it! Not to mention the outdoor games and hot tub too! This is a wonderful rental for any type of get together you could think of in my opinion. We plan on coming back soon!
