Walk into a different era - fascinating!

4 of 5
Great stay in a beautifully restored heritage home. Stained glass windows, gargoyles on the roof, beautiful yard with gazebo and tall hedges. Inside - lampshades with dangling jewels, brocade drapes with tassles, designs on the ceilings. All really well done, and very clean. On the down side, there isn't much light coming into the house so it is quite dark. We did miss having a kettle and a toaster in the kitchen. Also, there isn't much counter space in the kitchen and almost no counter space in the bathroom so we had to put some things on the floor. Not a big deal for a shorter stay. The location was decent and the house was well fortified against any would-be intruder. We felt very safe here. Overall a very satisfying visit here and in Spokane and we thought the rate here was a good bargain.

Relaxing, Forget about time...

5 of 5
Perfect spot to unplug and get away from the world. Kelly (owner) was very accommodating, and the house was extremely clean! The wrap around deck was fabulous! Quick side access to put canoes and Kayaks into the lake. House lights up at night easy to see when paddling at sunset. Fire pit, outdoor seating, hot tub, quiet neighborhood, and coyotes in the distance! Will be back soon if you are not booked! Great place to spend a birthday!

Great concert venue and beautiful views

5 of 5
I have attended many outdoor concert events at this venue and it's pretty incredible. The hike up to the tipi and views from there are awesome. Also the views of the cliffs across the road are inspiring. I haven't stayed in the house but have been inside and it is very quaint and cozy. It's 4 miles to the boat launch in Lincoln with a great lake to boat or swim on with miles and miles of beaches. And regular visitors are the big horn sheep that live in and around Sterling Valley. Pretty cool to come upon along the road or roaming in the cliffs.
