Clean, comfortable, well equipped rustic cabin

          5 of 5
We felt quite at home in this rustic, but very clean and comfortable cabin in a quiet gated community. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a high chair, which was helpful with our one year old granddaughter. We were here to go to our son's wedding at Wandering Waters in nearby Maple Falls. It was very convenient - much better than commuting from Bellingham, which many guests did. The only unfortunate thing was that we were so busy with the wedding festivities that we didn't really get to spend much time just enjoying the cabin. I highly recommend it!

          Peace, quiet, and comfort

          5 of 5
My family and dog spent a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The place is very comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute. Prepare your children for no-internet! We made sure both of our boys brought their hobbies - so they ended up spending a lot of time hand-painting miniatures and playing guitar. There really isn't any cell phone reception, but that turned out to be a very good thing. I had occasional pangs of longing for the internet, but I soon discovered that it's easy to get along without it. (it's sort of the point of a family vacation, isn't it?) We played board games as a family - and we watched movies, read books, soaked in the hot tub, and went for walks. There's a good pizza restaurant within walking distance, so we didn't need to do a lot of cooking. It's so nice just to sit on the couch and look up at the chalet style ceiling. There is a lot of natural daylight and a lovely wraparound porch. Highly recommended!
