Clean, comfortable, well equipped rustic cabin

            5 of 5
We felt quite at home in this rustic, but very clean and comfortable cabin in a quiet gated community. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a high chair, which was helpful with our one year old granddaughter. We were here to go to our son's wedding at Wandering Waters in nearby Maple Falls. It was very convenient - much better than commuting from Bellingham, which many guests did. The only unfortunate thing was that we were so busy with the wedding festivities that we didn't really get to spend much time just enjoying the cabin. I highly recommend it!

            Peace, quiet, and comfort

            5 of 5
My family and dog spent a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The place is very comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute. Prepare your children for no-internet! We made sure both of our boys brought their hobbies - so they ended up spending a lot of time hand-painting miniatures and playing guitar. There really isn't any cell phone reception, but that turned out to be a very good thing. I had occasional pangs of longing for the internet, but I soon discovered that it's easy to get along without it. (it's sort of the point of a family vacation, isn't it?) We played board games as a family - and we watched movies, read books, soaked in the hot tub, and went for walks. There's a good pizza restaurant within walking distance, so we didn't need to do a lot of cooking. It's so nice just to sit on the couch and look up at the chalet style ceiling. There is a lot of natural daylight and a lovely wraparound porch. Highly recommended!

            Amazing property moutain chalet!

            5 of 5
I can’t say enough about how great this property is. We have rented the chalet twice and love everything about it- location, amenities, etc. The owners of this chalet take amazing care of the property. Everything has been considered with the guest in mind. Light switches & features are labeled, instructions posted about the hot tub, and checkout reminders. The cleanliness of the chalet is impeccable! Additional cleaning products can be found in appropriate areas to help you keep things tidy throughout your stay. Detailed checkout instructions list the simple tasks guests are asked to complete prior to departure. The amenities are never ending! Outside there is a wraparound deck on the main level with an outdoor table for seating, & a large cozy hot tub, and a fire pit (outdoor chairs provided/bring your own firewood). There is ample parking in the drive just off the cul-de-sac. Inside everything has been thought of. There is clothes iron, dishwasher, full sized laundry (detergent provided), river rock fireplace, pool table, two full kitchens, three bathrooms, & the list continues. The rooms are well laid out and have the perfect furnishes for a mountain chalet. Everything is clean, cozy & has a modern feel to it. The great room features an enormous river rock fire place and ample seating with a leather large sofa and comfy den chairs. There are two full kitchens with stainless steel appliances, the lower billiards area is the perfect game room, & the three bathrooms are stocked with fluffy towels. The four bedrooms are all inviting with clean & comfortable linens. For additional sleeping area, there is a pull out sofa in the billiards room. The dining area off the great room has ample seating & light. An upstairs loft area provides the perfect setting to relax while enjoying the views of Mt Baker just outside the windows. There is a land line phone at the chalet, but there is not cell phone service. WiFi can be found in a nearby community clubhouse or across the hwy at a nearby restaurant. The chalet is located in a quite cul-de-sac of the Snowline Community. Across the hwy there the Chair9 restaurant offers great food & drinks. The Mt.Baker Ski Area is just a short drive up the mountain. There are countless hiking trails in the area. We booked a river rafting trip with nearby Wild & Scenic Adventures. Any forgotten supplies can be picked up at nearby towns. The owners make the entire process a breeze!
