Stunning view, gorgeous home, private beach!

5 of 5
We just returned from a 5-day stay at this beautiful house, and I can't say enough about it. Incredibly comfortable beds, jaw-dropping ocean view (you are literally ON the beach in this house!), modern and updated amenities, and an incredibly quiet neighborhood. It was also a-ok for families (we had our 5 year old and 3 year old with us). To top it off, we saw TONS of gray whales off in the distance from the deck, including one that breached three times! Staying here the next time we visit the area will be a no-brainer for us.

Quiet getaway

5 of 5
Great little cottage for a family getaway. While it is not right on the beach, that turns out to be a plus, because the deck on the front is protected from the wind. Afternoons were spectacular out on the deck with warm sunshine and views of the ocean. Located on a quiet street, there weren't the shenanigans you often have to put up with in crowded places like Ocean Shores. Well equipped kitchen, working barbecue, comfortable beds. It was very clean and a basket of doggy stuff was there for our use (rope for tie-up, towels, bed, really, who thinks of that stuff?). Moclips is a relatively undiscovered location (I have no idea why) and this little cottage is a perfect spot to begin exploration. Don't miss the bakery at Pacific Beach either, a mile's drive and you've got hot cinnamon rolls!
