Quiet retreat

5 of 5
Bring some good books and board games - this is such a great place to relax! We spent a week here and felt so rested by the end of it. Super quiet, restful, serene, and private. The location on the Peninsula is fantastic. We went on several hikes and nature walks that are in easy driving distance. The coast itself was just a couple hours away. There's nothing like Olympic National Park! It's not to be missed! One of our favorite spots was the Hoodsport Coffee Company, just down the hill from the house. A fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent coffee made us visit multiple times. They also have Olympic Mountain ice cream - yum! Definitely worth going here. The kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals, which saved us a ton of money. We actually didn't eat at a restaurant the whole week!

Cozy cabin in the woods.

4 of 5
We had a delightful stay. We enjoyed unplugging from everything and relaxing and reconnecting with what really matters. Kitchen was well stocked with untensils . Fire wood provided. The beds were comfy and lots of extra blankets. The DVD's to watch and games were a plus.

Wonderful place to stay

5 of 5
My friends and I stayed at the Moose House to have a scrapbook weekend. I was so impressed with how clean it was. We loved all the windows that look directly out to the woods. It feels so serene. The owner is very easy to work with and very friendly. We loved it so much that we are going again next weekend. Another thing that I loved is that it didn't cost us our left arm to rent it and that she doesn't charge a house keeping fee. As long as you clean, clean, clean when leave and leave it how you found it, it is all good! I am so thankful that we found the Moose House, we will definately be using it frequently.
