I rarely write reviews, so I'll keep this short. The home looks every bit as kept and beautiful as the pictures portray. The rear area is a haven for children and outdoor enthusiast. The craftsmanship and details in both the structure and furnishings are evident to the naked eye. Many of the homes accoutrements are designed for both luxury and comfort. This is a gorgeous property.
As background, we shared this home with my college roommate and his family. Together we had four adults and three children ages 2, 5, and 5. The children enjoyed the large expanse of grass and towering trees, rope swings, playground, and playhouse in the enormous rear area. This area gives the feeling of seclusion as neighboring homes are not immediately visible. The home is also set back from the street on a long gravel driveway, further enhancing the premise of isolation and exclusivity.
The home itself has a wonderful feel and natural flow to it, affording areas of activity and relaxation in a communal setting. The children loved the nooks and niches in each of the children's rooms, allowing them to spend ample time in these areas while the adults relaxed and caught up elsewhere. The bedrooms themselves were each beautiful and functional. The master bath is unmatched in workmanship, fixtures and detail. With sunshine bathing and accentuating the great room, I cannot think of a more comfortable setting for relaxing, playing board games, or simply and quietly drinking your morning coffee.
I cannot speak more highly of the kitchen and utilities. Every piece of equipment was top notch, from the appliances to the included silverware and platters. We decided to cook or barbeque for breakfast and dinner each day. Three to four adults in the kitchen, working on various dishes, never once bumped into each other or had to say, "excuse me" to get by. There is literally a hundred square feet of counter space - or at least it felt like it. There is a separate niche for beverages, including all the machines you could imagine a proud barista would own.
We could easily have never left this home, but it was the first visit to the area for our guests, so the requisite trips the Space Needle and downtown were in order. Without traffic it is a bout a 25 minute drive into downtown. With traffic, who knows...we never hit traffic.
All in all, the value can't be beat. Much roomier than a hotel and you just can't beat the amenities.
