We rented this property for a family wedding we attended, and spent the week touring DC. All totaled, there were 8 adults and 8 children. The 5 bedrooms accommodated all of us perfectly! Everything was clean and neat. Nothing shabby at all--very modern-looking place. Really nice neighborhood, just a brief walk to the zoo and a relatively close Metro station (with an even closer Metro elevator, which worked well for Grandma!). Big dining room table, nice TV area with a convertible sofa allowing lots of little kids to pile on and watch a movie together. Lots of little touches making it comfortable for everyone--nice linens for beds and baths, cleaning products, lots of helpful food items. Loved that it had a washer-dryer. I would definitely recommend staying here! The only areas of improvement I can think of are as follows: increase parking for an additional vehicle (it used to accommodate 2 cars, but they built a deck over the parking space, and its supports make it impossible to get another vehicle in. With DC's difficult parking, this seems like a rather questionable decision for such a large property) and the hot water heater is set waaaaaay too hot (God forbid someone flush while you're in the shower...you literally get scalded. Not a good thing, especially given the amount of children we had taking showers who don't know what to do when this happens. But an easy fix), and, finally, the lack of a closet in one of the bedrooms (we made do with towel racks). In spite of these, though, the place was close to perfect for us. We really enjoyed our stay.
