Wonderful property in a great neighborhood

5 of 5
I rented this apartment for a trip to DC for my wedding and honeymoon vacation. This property is exactly as described and the pictures on the site are a perfect representation. This is the first time I have rented a property such as this and I have to say that for the price, it cant be beat. The apartment is modern, clean, and efficient. All the amenities are great. The neighborhood is spectacular. There are many restaurants within walking distance at any price point. There is a Rite Aid very near as well. The U street train station is only a couple blocks away and very accessible. I highly suggest that you explore the neighborhood as there are great restaurants on U street as well as on 14th street. Try Ted's Bulletin and Café Saint Ex. They were spectacular. One word of warning. Parking is available and I was able to park right in front of the house with the visitor parking permit, however I got a 45.00 ticket for being parked on the street during street cleaning time. There are a couple signs but they are hard to see and if you are on the sidewalk, almost impossible to see. When I stayed there, the street cleaning was on Thursday from 9:30-11:30. The owners live upstairs and were available for anything I needed. I met them both once while outside, but otherwise they left us alone to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend renting this apartment. I will definitely rent this apartment again when I return to DC. I am giving each category 5 stars with the exception of experience since I did receive a parking ticket.
