My wife and I stayed here for a week, while visiting our daughter who lives with her family in an apartement in Georgetown. We loved Casey's house from the very start. The apartment covers the ground floor of a historical house, around the corner of GW University, Foggy Bottom Metro station, and great shops such as WHOLE FOODS and TRADER's JOE. Walking distance to THE MALL, the Museums and the White House. The house includes, besides the bedroom and bathroom, two fair size rooms: the sitting room, with facilities like cable TV and fast Wifi; and a dining room / kitchen, with dining area and cooking area, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, etc. The big unexpected PLUS is the large amount of edible/drinable goodies available for free: granola bars, eggs, fruit, butter, bread, fruit juice, mineral water, etc. After a couple of days we met Sally, the owner, a warm welcoming lady who turned out to be a useful source of information for things to do in town. She even offered us free tickets to the Hillwood Mansion and garden. What more could you want?
