This Downtown Flat is wonderful and the location is perfect. Lovely neighborhood, and an easy walk to get to the Metro. We are a family of 5, and enjoyed our stay a lot. The fold out sleeping couch is super comfortable (and the bed too) and there was another blow up mattress for our 3rd child. Everything was very nice and clean and well equipped , including basics. Location location! We loved, that we didn't need to drive once for the entire week while we were there. We drove but Kevin organized a parking permit for our car, and we could get to all the major sites and also the Zoo with the Metro, or walk to local stores , restaurants and coffee shops. It was easy to book and the owner always replied promptly. Thank you so much, we can definitely recommend this property.

A jewel historic house in an ideal location

4 of 5
My wife and I stayed here for a week, while visiting our daughter who lives with her family in an apartement in Georgetown. We loved Casey's house from the very start. The apartment covers the ground floor of a historical house, around the corner of GW University, Foggy Bottom Metro station, and great shops such as WHOLE FOODS and TRADER's JOE. Walking distance to THE MALL, the Museums and the White House. The house includes, besides the bedroom and bathroom, two fair size rooms: the sitting room, with facilities like cable TV and fast Wifi; and a dining room / kitchen, with dining area and cooking area, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, etc. The big unexpected PLUS is the large amount of edible/drinable goodies available for free: granola bars, eggs, fruit, butter, bread, fruit juice, mineral water, etc. After a couple of days we met Sally, the owner, a warm welcoming lady who turned out to be a useful source of information for things to do in town. She even offered us free tickets to the Hillwood Mansion and garden. What more could you want?

Comfortable Stay

5 of 5
Property was all and more than we expected. House was equipped with necessary items for essential basic living needs. House was kept neat and clean and the owner assured any questions that we had were answered in a timely manner. Only thing I would say was the house was a little on the cooler side, which can be expected for an older home in the city. Overall comfortable stay, I would definitely stay here again.
