        WE LOVED IT!

We were so pleased with how helpful & accommodating both Jamie & her fiance were. We arrived much later than we planned & we were still greeted with a smile. Anytime we needed a recommendation or had a question about anything, I sent Jamie a text & received an answer within a few minutes. The place was spotless & very tastefully decorated. It was well stocked with an entire closet full of blankets & pillows. Pretty much anything we needed, she had available in the kitchen too. We were very comfortable & it feel like a home away from home. The best part was that she happily welcomed our 3 small dogs. Most places will not take 3, but she had no problem with it. We brought tarps & our own blankets to cover everything up so they didn't deposit fur all over her beautiful furniture. & there was plenty of green space around for potty time. I highly recommend staying here. I've used Homeaway for other trips & have never stayed in a better place!

This condo is every bit as stylish and up to the minute as it looks in the pictures. All amenities are provided. And Cameron was a responsive, flexible and generous host. We were a family group of 6 adult women. Plenty of beds (we shared the king and queen beds, and put singles in the den and on the sofabed in the living room), baths and linens. We loved having the two story living/dining/kitchen area for visiting, meals and entertainment. Just wouldn't have been possible in a hotel. the space is beautifully light and airy. The big news is the location. I lived in DC years ago but did not really know this hip, developing neighborhood. As the description says, you are steps from the center of Columbia Heights with its shops, restaurants, bars of every stripe, and metro / buses. You can literally walk to the zoo, to Rock Creek Park, to the party scene of Adams-Morgan and to the hot U St/14th St. Neighborhoods. We especially liked The Heights and Cava for food. If you want to go to any other part of the DC area, hop on the yellow line Metro or any of the convenient buses that run on 14th Street. Enjoy!
