Brookland home.

5 of 5
We rented this home for a family vacation with my sister and her family and my brother and his family. There were nine of us and we found the home to be a perfect fit for us. We rented the basement apartment as well which served as a wonderful spot for the teenagers with us! We loved the location which is close to the Metro and even the drive in to D.C. was not difficult. We were met at the home by the owner who explained the area and made recommendations for restaurants and other points of interest in the area i.e. Basilica, Franciscan Monastery. We would definitely recommend this home.

Great stay in a great apartment

5 of 5
This cottage had everything you would need or want for a great stay in DC. It is in the beautiful Brookland neighborhood with great old houses and flowering trees. Just a short walk from the train and just s few stops to the heart of DC. We would stay here again in a minute.

Fantastic home for our large family!

5 of 5
It was so quaint and clean! My family of 8 plus my parents stayed in the 6th street Retreat and we loved it!! Within hours we felt like we really lived there! We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't have had a better home for our vacation! Most mornings we would eat breakfast, pack our lunches and then head out for a long day of touring amazing places. We had a few down days where my dad and sons stayed home and played games while us girls shopped til we dropped :) The kitchen is so nice!! I pre- made our meals and popped them in the freezer and fridge when we arrived and we were able to eat dinners at home almost every night. The 4 baths were awesome since there were 10 of us! Angela was so helpful and attended to our every need! Can't say enough good things about our little homeAway from home! Would recommend it and stay there again! Elizabeth
