Cute, clean, well-located

4 of 5
This is a very cute, clean and comfortable place in a very handy location. The Adams Morgan neighborhood is so much fun, and a restaurant row with all varieties of coffee houses, foods and prices starts at the corner. Zoo is not far. Buses are at the corner. We had no difficulties, but the owners were very available just in case. We stayed two weeks and loved it.

Perfect venue for family reunions

5 of 5
We rented both the house and the lower level apartment so 15 of us from three continents could celebrate our son's wedding and also enjoy a week-long vacation together. We ranged in age from 24 to almost 90 and everyone agreed it was both the perfect house and perfect location. The kitchen is fantastic-- large enough for us all to congregate. The third floor bathroom is spectacular. Allen was immediately responsive to minor issues and is an engaging host. And everything in DC is easily accessible on foot, by Circulator, bus, and metro. Highly recommended!

Great Location

5 of 5
We loved this place! We were within walking distance to the zoo which made it easy to visit more than once. The neighborhood was quiet and charming. We felt very safe inside and outside of the apartment. We had an SUV that fit well enough in the garage, but there was a bus stop about 2 blocks away and a bike rental station about 2 blocks in the other direction. The apartment was very comfortable and homey. The kitchen was well appointed with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We had no problem cooking meals. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The payment process was easy and the deposit return was quick. This was our first VRBO experience and we were very pleased.
