Lovely lovely

5 of 5
We stayed at Dupont-Adams Morgan Beauty for almost one month. It is on the first floor, though there are about 10 steps to reach that floor. The apartment is in a very residential tree lined area, and was very comfortable and clean, with loads of storage space, washer-dryer, walk in closet, comfortable queen bed, large desk, wifi, delightful windows in every room overlooking court yards (apt is in right rear of building), shower/tub with hand held wand, granite in kitchen, comfortable ample seating in living room, sofa/futons open to extra and comfortable sleeping space, kitchen well equipped. It's about a 5 block walk to either of 2 metro lines. I'm sure buses are way closer, but we never took advantage of that. Grocery stores are about that same distance, so bring a rolling cart of some sort, and your own bags (there's a charge for bags). The walk to these places is delightful. Restaurants nearby. Yoga nearby. Down the block from Dupont Hilton which has tours, and airport services. (An aside, I broke my ankle third day there, and the front steps made me realize there is a bit of a handicap issue. Also I had asthma from beautiful scenery all in bloom. Arlene, the absolutely delightful and awesome manager, provided an air purifier. I was overwhelmed! She also provided any kitchen utensil that I mentioned I might need. She offered a rolling grocery cart. I can't say enough about her.) Would I stay here again? Absolutely! (I hesitate to say!) So don't sign up for the dates I may need! ~~Diane~~

Great location

5 of 5
Nice apartment in good neighborhood. Felt safe and secure. Perfect for a family needing a little more room than hotel rooms typically offer. I would stay there again.

Clean and Quiet

5 of 5
Everything went very smoothly with our rental and stay. The apartment is spacious for a one bedroom and was very clean when we went in. Everything from bedding to dish soap was provided, which was more than I had thought so that was a pleasant surprise. It is on the 2nd floor so it was a little challenge for our 2 year old and the stroller (no elevator) but that was really the only drawback. The neighborhood and neighbors are quiet and pleasant. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our usual routines and foods while exploring the DC area! (.55 mi to nearest Metro Stop).
