I am just getting around to a review, even though we stayed here last fall. The pictures on the site almost seemed better than the place itself. Although, it was remedied, upon arrival the house was failed to be cleaned, which also meant there was so no clean sheets, towels, soaps, paper towels, etc. I ended up having to do a load of laundry and going to the store for the essentials. Although the properpty manger was apologetic, because she and the owner himself do not live nearby, they do everything remote, which leaves room for error. The cleaning lady did show apparently, but had to leave suddenly. It is of note, we were compensated for our inconvenience. although the bathrooms have nice, antique furnishings, they really are for show and you cant actually use the cabinets. None of the drawers properly pulled out and on handle came off. The downstairs master bedroom's blinds also kept coming off the track and provided zero blackout of the morning sun or even the porch light. The kitchen was the nicest place in the house, very nice and upgraded. Central location, close to everything in the resort. I agree with one reviewer, the deck is so expansive, a hot tub would be glorious. I think we just had too many people (our fault) as the loft and blue room is should really be used for small children and not adults. I would like to experience the cabin again, with less people, with a hot tub (*big wink*) and fully cleaned prior to arrival and have the furniture actually be usable. Which reminds me, the living room couch was a quite hard and uncomfortable. sorry, trying to paint an actual picture of the property. I think these are all fixable and the property manager will work with you to helps satisfy your needs.
