Home away from home! The perfect place to relax.

5 of 5
Lisa Sanders thank you so much for everything! Mrs. Sanders was a very good host. She responded to our calls and emails quickly. If we had a question she was there for us. She's friendly and helpful. She has pamphlets of things to do, places to see in the house. Just pack your clothes and food because "Woodside" has everything else!! The house is amazing, clean, quiet, super spacious, and in a great location. We had 11 people in our group (6 kids, 5 adults, & 1 dog) and had plenty of space to accommodate all of us. We had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and hand towels. The washer and dryer were convenient too. There is a dog run which was very convenient and secure. Mrs. Sanders even had dog bowls. Woodside has everything you need including a grill, grill utensils, fire pit, coffee pot, a wine chiller with plenty of wine glasses; anything you can imagine, she has it in the house. There are 2 driveways, so plenty of parking is available. We enjoyed having coffee in the screened porch, it is a very peaceful neighborhood. Our group enjoyed the foosball, ping pong table, and fire pit. She also has DVDs, books, board games, puzzles too. Shenandoah National park is about an hour away. We went tubing in the river, Shenandoah Outfitters is 50 minutes away. The lake is only 1 mile away and has paddle boats, canoes, paddle boards, noodles(swimming), and life vest for rent. Lake Laura was beautiful and relaxing. The lake has picnic tables and chairs available. They also have snacks and drinks for sale. The lake has a 3 mile trail to walk, trail was a little narrow but still safe to walk on. There is a golf range close to the house too. We can't wait to be back!! We had all the conveniences of home, plenty to do inside and outside, and we will be returning!

Wow, amazing vacation home!

5 of 5
Truly an amazing house and wonderful owner. We spent 6 days in this beautiful house with our 5 children and some extended family. The house is very roomy. It is so thoughtfully decorated and so fully equipped it is easy to settle in and feel right at home. The area is beautiful and lots of fun things to do (indoor water park right across the street) if you can pull yourself away from all there is to do in the basement of this house. We spent hours playing in the amazing basement. The deck and screened in porch are wonderfully private and comfortable. Every thing is so well maintained and the owner is so responsive to all questions and concerns. One thing to know is that it is hilly and the drive way is steep, there is no parking on the street but there is a garage. We only had two cars so it was not an issue. We loved this home and had so much fun we did not want to leave.

Fine Estabishment

5 of 5
First time to the Massanutten area and we happened to pick the perfect home/location. Awesome place with two decks not just one. Deer running free around the property (but are protected). Fishing is close by in North and South Rivers that form the Shenandoah. Super Great Room for telling the days fishing tales. Note to future users bring your own paper products.(our bad).
