EXCELLENT WATERFRONT PROPERTY

5 of 5
Stayed four nights. House is well kept with all the amenities we needed for six adults and four kids. Grounds and river access really make this a special place to vacation. Property is as advertised.

SIMPLE PLEASURES

5 of 5
My step son and I had a great "guys weekend" at the White Oak Canyon Cottage. Furnishings were sparse but comfortable, it had everything you needed but food. The owners put together a great cottage guide that provides information on the local attractions, trail guides, and local fishing spots and regulations. The area is wonderful! Great hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty, native brook trout fishing, and the comfort of the national park. On one day we saw 7 black bears, two right near the cottage. That was awesome! Very quiet nights in the cooler mountain air made for good sleeping. I would recommend to any party up to 4, provided they were OK with one queen bed and a double bunk bed.

LOOKS JUST LIKE THE LISTING PHOTOS

5 of 5
The cottage was exactly as shown in the listing photos. Everything in the description made me feel comfortable booking this cottage since they listed all of the faults so openly. You cannot beat the price of this place. The bed was nice and comfortable. The retro kitchen was like walking back in time, but everything worked perfectly. The Wifi and the TV worked great. The neighbors next door were very nice. The mountains and the forests around the cottage was very pretty. The creek was within walking distance and the trails were just right out the back door. Definitely worth the money and I would stay again.
