Gorgeous Views!

5 of 5
We have stayed at many Bernard's Landing properties, but this is one of the finest. The townhome was beautifully decorated and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. The best feature is the incredible view! This unit is closer to the water than the others in the building and nothing blocks your view of the lake. Bernard's Landing is a perfect vacation resort. We spent the week boating, waterskiing, kayaking, and swimming in the resort pool. The location is the best on the lake, with spectacular wide water and mountain views, proximity to a large grocery store and shops, and easy access by boat to the whole lake. We would definitely stay at Majestic Pointe again!

Wonderful Family Gathering!

5 of 5
We rented the house for a week for our family reunion. The house had ample space for everyone and had a great layout. The home was well kept with only minor wear and tear issues that were reported to the owner however nothing that interrupted our good time. The kitchen was stocked with enough dinnerware to have fed double our group. We did have one major issue while there. The dryer died and was immediately reported to the owner. They did not waste time sending a repairman and instead had a new one installed the next day. I would highly recommend this home for your next gathering. I would have returned this year however because of the great time that was had, my group was too large for this home this year. The Fulmer's were wonderful to work with. Having an owner to deal with versus a company was one of the reasons that this home was chosen and I am so glad that I did!!

4th of July Week

5 of 5
I stayed here the first part of the week with friends (in our 30s) then had my family (with parents in their 60s) for the second half of the week. It was a good time for both groups! The house was in great condition and it was very open and spacious. It is in a private community with a pool, private beach, and two golf courses. While I wasn't too impressed with the town of Cape Charles, I was glad to have the amenities in the community. I probably wouldn't return to Cape Charles because I felt like I saw everything there was to see in a week. My friends and I enjoyed buying fresh oysters & clams from the local market and also grilling out back. The private beach was very secluded and only had two families scattered throughout the whole beach! We had a great time. We also found the pool and went for a swim one of the days. My parents had a great time and they couldn't stop raving about the gorgeous golf course. Bay Creek is somewhat pricy but they said it was worth the money. Overall, the house is in a great location (in a gated community) with lots of amenities. I wasn't too impressed with the town and its shops but found other ways to relax and entertain ourselves. The owner is very accommodating and even brought us fresh vegetables from her garden to grill! The house was very clean and we left it as we found it.
