                        COMFORTABLE COTTAGE, LOVELY LOCATION.

                        5 of 5
We had a great time here. Shar was a wonderful, friendly hostess who was always ready to help. (Thanks again for the cookies!). The cottage was spotless and newly renovated with the addition of a dining nook that gave onto a large, screened-in front porch. Loved watching the tubers on the Shenandoah River and if we get to come back I'm definitely doing that! Charming loft bedroom. The kitchen was the most well-stocked I've seen yet in a HomeAway property. Nearby Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive were awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

                        WELL KEPT CABIN

                        4 of 5
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very neat and tidy and we throughly enjoyed our time lounging on the back deck. The cabin has great views over the valley below. The beds were very comfortable and we were very pleased with our stay. The only complaint we had about the stay was the lack of cooking items in the kitchen. The kitchen only has a K-Cup machine and no K-Cups were provided so we had to drive first thing in the morning to get coffee. It also lacked a toaster oven and the cooking items were in very poor condition. We had planned on making a nice dinner one night so this was a bit disappointing. Again, the kitchen is our only complaint- the cabin is very lovely and would certainly be a place we would stay again.

                        AMAZING, REMOTE, BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN PROPERTY!

                        5 of 5
I am not kidding when I say this is my favorite property I have ever stayed in off of Home Away or VRBO. We have stayed in at least 4 properties in the last few years besides this one on the East Coast. This house is the perfect getaway for two if you are looking for a romantic escape. It has a hot tub, fire pits, a smoker, a BBQ and is right next to the Shenandoah River. There are two fishing lakes on the property and the mountain views are constantly changing and stunning. Also, the owners Michael and Dilka checked in with us and then let us be - perfect! A gorgeous property, mountain views and, best of all, very updated inside. It has current appliances, pots, pans, kitchenware, dishes, etc. etc. Literally, the only thing you need are your clothes, food to cook, shampoo and towels/bed sheets - they have everything else. The property has a historic barn on it as well which is stunning. Was not occupied when we were there, not sure if it is at other times. Even if it was, that barn had it's own BBQ/screen house for sitting outside. Just stop at the grocery store on your way down (45 minutes away otherwise) and get ready to relax. About 35 minutes from Luray Caverns if that is your thing too. I can't wait to go back. Suzanne, New Jersey
