This is a beautiful home on a gorgeous, spacious piece of property. Surrounded by woods with the sounds of a stream in the background it is private and relaxing. We enjoyed hiking at the nearby Shenandoah Park, hanging out by the stream, a couple camp fires and lawn games. The house easily held our 12 person group, and it's very unique and interesting in both decor and layout.the kitchen is beautiful with tons of food prep space, but don't stub your toes on the joints between the sections of the house! Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely consider returning if we plan a similar trip in the future.

Recently, my wife and I and three other couples stayed at this beautiful home! The place was incredibly breathtaking with the mountain views. The interior was very clean and was very well built. I met the owner and he was very courteous, helpful and polite. He actually designed the place himself, and he did a wonderful job! People in our group especially liked the fireplace, the rain shower, the sauna, and the amazing rooms (especially the master bedroom and the cottage adjacent to the house). You know you're staying at a great place when you and your friends start talking about returning the following year. We loved the place and recommend it to anybody looking for a relaxing getaway, whether it's with your family or a group of friends.

The only reason I'm hesitant to give Spirit Dancer a great review is because I don't want anyone else to know how fantastic this place is. I went in mid November with a group of friends for my birthday party, and we were all blown away by the facilities and surroundings. The lodge is a home -- it shows in the quality of the furnishings and decorations, and the kitchen is impressively equipped. Sliding into the outdoor hot tub after a morning hike up White Oak Canyon is a pleasure not to be missed. Arrangements with Geri were smooth and trouble free. Can't wait to go back!
